Sunday Update

Was depressed on Sunday. Was confused about Brother coming out. I thought if it was noon and he did not show he was not coming. I didn't feel good so I took a small nap and phone rang. Brother called to say he was coming over. It was 3pm? He had gone to RL's last game and skipped out on the BBQ saying many times, "I am not good in social situations." RL finishes school for the summer next week. Yay?

Brother and I went to home improvement. He had truck too! It is working. He had missed a reattaching a vaccum hose that wasn't on his diagrams. First, though, he was going to paint the range hood (fan/light vents grease/cooking odor to outside) white. This is "new" range hood that has been here for 100 years and never installed. I looked at the color and said, "Wait! Don't paint!" and we went inside. It is sort of close to cabinet color. We decided to take paint back--$4 saved.

We got new doors for bath/shower and a couple electrical items. We didn't get extra light switch we needed. We forgot? We worked on getting range hood installed. I called neighbor to see if we could come over to see his install because Brother wanted to run electrical cord like neighbor had and neighbor had told me before: don't do it this way! It took a little while but neighbor called back. He had just finished feeding wife dinner and doing dishes. We went over and Brother saw that his plan was not as good as he thought! Plan changed! Instead we drilled holes in cabinets to run cord through. Everything is hidden! It is good! Mother would like! Mother would get free petting because she made me get "hole saw" things for drill. She did that a lot--get in case you need! And it seems I did!

Technically we did it "wrong" because we should have made holes HUGE and put in plastic things for the hole to guide cord. That is better for new cabinets. This is OK though. It works and looks 'neat'. I might get loop things to guide cord. Can take back cord hiding stuff that was going to run along cabinets. That is $10 saved! I was good helper.

What else? Not too much. Brother left at like 8:30pm but project was done and working and we were pleased? I stayed up hella late to stalk teh Duckie! He was online! I can reset the pining clock? Ha!

Brother agreed I need another coat of paint on bath ceiling. Not in mood to paint today (Monday).
